PennWay

Pennway Meets Growing Demand For Fairway Bentgrass

Creeping bentgrass fainvays gained popularity around 1983, and since fairways typically require 10 times more seed than greens, the demand for quality bentgrass seed has risen dramatically. For more than a decade, Pennway has been the answer for an economical fairway blend.

Pennway provides the broad genetic diversity required to give an excellent playing surface on various soil types. Contains Penncross, PennLinks,
Seaside II and Penneagle. Has good heat and drought tolerance with good disease resistance. Pennway is also available as an uncertified blend.

PennTrio

PennTrio Is Ideal For Tees, Fairways, Greens,
and Winter Overseeding

PennTrio Is Ideal For Tees, Fairways, Greens, and Winter Overseeding Some superintendents prefer combined strengths of several components for their bentgrass needs. Some were blending their own while others ordered mixtures from their distributor. PennTrio and Pennway are the only blends that may use Penn component names. Mixing'Penn Pals' with any other species or bent variety will invalidate the use of Penn names as ingredients.

Oregon certified PennTrio contains 1/3 each Penncross, Penneagle, and PennLinks. This increasingly popular blend is ideally suited to permanent tees, fairways and greens as well as for winter overseeding. It has all the attributes of a blend with ready-to-seed convenience.

NuPenn

Nu-Penn Blend Developed For New Seeding,
Overseeding And Interseeding

With the instant success of our newer Penn "A" and "G" cultivars, many superintendents were eager to use these products on existing greens. Nu-Penn blend was developed for overseeding and interseeding existing greens, as well as for new seeding.

Many superintendents requested a blend to get a wide genetic background. Nu-Penn blend combines 50% Penn A's and 50% Penn G's.

By seeding 1/2 to 1 Ib. per 1,000 square feet after spring and fall verticutting, Nu-Penn blend will establish quickly and, in time, overtake and replace the existing bent and/or Poa annua for a high-tech greens without closing for renovation.
